IUAES 2013
A very enjoyable and stimulating day at the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences Conference. The Afterlife Research Centre ran a day-long panel on The Extended Self: Relations Between Material and Immaterial Worlds. My own paper on Self, Personhood and Possession took a comparative look at modern Western spirit release therapies. Most of the presentations, which were recorded, will be posted on the ARC website: http:www.afterliferesearch.info.
